Zomba City

Zomba is a historic city that blends colonial charm and natural beauty. Once the capital of Malawi, Zomba still retains some of its old buildings, such as the State House and the Gymkhana Club. Zomba is also home to the Malawi Defence Force and the University of Malawi, which add to its cultural diversity. The main attraction of Zomba is the Zomba Plateau, a green oasis that towers over the city. The plateau is a paradise for nature lovers, with panoramic views, lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. You can explore the plateau by car, bike, or foot, and enjoy a picnic, camping, or fishing at one of the dams.
